Throughout my 18-year career at McKesson (Jul 2001 - Jan 2018) , I consistently advanced into roles of increasing responsibility, demonstrating expertise in managing large-scale IT and infrastructure projects.

​Starting as a Technical Support Team Lead, I provided executive-level IT support for McKesson’s CEO and leadership team, ensuring seamless technology operations.

​My swift advancement to Help Desk Manager placed me in charge of IT support for thousands of users across multiple McKesson facilities, where I led a team of technicians to ensure seamless business operations.

​As a senior IT manager overseeing 15 direct reports, I implemented a regional support model to manage technology across 35 pharmaceutical distribution centers. I oversaw strategic supply chain technology initiatives for 35 pharmaceutical distribution centers nationwide. I managed high-stakes crisis response, service improvements, and change management efforts, including a $7 million IBM iSeries server upgrade and a large-scale system automation initiative.

​Transitioning into Senior Project Manager and Program Manager roles, I successfully led multimillion-dollar initiatives, including IBM iSeries server upgrades and transportation infrastructure enhancements, consistently delivering projects on time, within budget, and with improved operational efficiency.

​By aligning IT projects with business objectives, effectively managing cross-functional teams, and driving innovation, I played a key role in strengthening McKesson’s IT infrastructure, reinforcing my ability to lead complex projects at an enterprise level.

A great example is my role as the Senior Project Manager over the Extended Security Update (ESU) project. This was an external customer-facing position. The project consisted of leveraging best practices and go-forward strategies to deploy/refresh/update Security patches, Server operating systems, and In-support/Out-of-support Windows operating systems to Worldwide customers.

My role as the Senior IT Project Manager was to synthesize deployment strategy for senior leaders, identify strategic options, define outcomes, and gain consensus among leaders on project scope and objectives. I managed all aspects of the Windows 10 upgrade including resource allocation, cross-functional team workload balancing, executive-level communication, and escalation management.
